My name is Cannon Colegrove. I am 19. I am from Helena Montana but now attend college at the University of Montana in Missoula Montana where I am studying resource conservation and wildlife biology. I enjoy fishing, especially fly fishing, hunting, backpacking, snowshoeing, PHOTOGRAPHY, and most everything outdoors.
In 1st and 2nd grade i remember my parents buying me those disposable, one time use cameras, then eventually I got a cheap little film camera. In 4th Grade I bought my first point and shoot digital camera which was an Olypmus CAMEDIA C-740 UZ. This camera was great. I got several great shots with it, and I used it up until just a few years ago when I purchased a Canon 7D. I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed looking for the next photo to present itself. I enjoy photography of the outdoors because the opportunities are endless. When I am outdoors hiking around the mountains or fishing across the river or driving down the back roads I just never know what to expect. A wild animal, an amazing sunset, an extreme weather shot, or a bright starry sky, the possibilities are endless. I believe that the more time you spend with a camera and the more time in search of a great photo the easier it will be to find. If you see something that catches your eye don't pass it up. If a photo presents itself take advantage of it, and put in the effort to make it a stunning photo. It's all about being creative with your camera, and trying something new.
